Our Optometrists Sarah, Paul & Olivia have many years of experience in providing quality eyecare and have complimentary specialisms. We are now one of a handful of Independent Opticians in East Cheshire and long established having been on the Macclesfield High Street for over 50 years.

Sarah Clarke – Practice Owner & IP Optometrist
Sarah is an Independent Prescriber and regularly attending conferences and training to ensure the Practice can offer a wide range of services and treatment. She has expertise in Emergency Eyecare, Dry Eye conditions, Orthok and Myopia Management. Many local schools recommended her to work with children with reading issues. Sarah worked on the health team at the 2017 Special Olympics and enjoys providing eye care for people with learning disabilities. In 2018 she ran an eye clinic in a remote area of Nepal.

Paul Manton -Optometrist
Paul first qualified as an Optometrist in 1993 and later went on to gain an MSc distinction from City University London. He has extensive experience in OCT analysis and complex contact lens fitting and also works in Disdbury.

Olivia Amadi- Optometrist
Olivia joined us in 2024 and also works in Bramhall. She has endless patience and loves the process of an accurate refraction! With her big smile and wicked sense of humor Olivia has fitted perfectly into our small team at Park Lane and the patients love her. She is a big netball enthusiast and loves a good quiz.
Melissa Oliver – Daily Operations Manager & Frame Stylist
Melissa joined us in 2021 and is a highly experienced frame stylist having worked in different types of Optical practice. Melissa has an eye for design and is our key buyer. She loves finding the best frames to match a personality.

Angharad Bramwell – Assistant Practice Manager & Frame Stylist
Angharad, our Assistant Practice Manager, joined us in 2022 after graduating in Psychology and Criminology. She is now studying on an Apprenticeship for a further Degree in Chartered Business Management at Manchester Met. She holds a Distinction at Optical Assistant Level 3 and has become an expert in our wonderful frames. She loves to work with clients to design handcrafted wooden Feb31st frames.

Harry Wallace – The Graphics Guy!
Harry joined us in 2024, left to further his Graphic Design skills in 2025 …. and has returned! He runs our Front Desk and carry’s out OCT scans and Visual Field tests. He’s also a freelance graphic designer and we make the most of his fantastic creativity and digital design skills. He creates leaflets, original graphics and content for our social media.
David Leyshon- Dispensing Optician
Dave joined us in 2025 and we share him with another Independent Opticians in the Peak District. He has great frame and lens knowledge, is meticulous in his attention to detail and supports all of our team to do their best work. He is a keen tennis player and enjoys live music.
Mark Scott – Dispenser and Lens Specialist
Mark joined us in 2025 and brought a wealth of wider industry expertise with him! In previous jobs he has worked as a Lens Specialist for Nikon UK, been a Practice Manager and worked in a lab. He is often on the road visiting practices with Independent Eyewear brands and optical lab equipment.
