Dutz, bold Eyewear from Holland!
Dutz frames are the boldest frames to come out of Holland. The designers have given retro circular and square shapes a contemporary makeover bursting with funky two-tone colours, resulting in a sense of edgy sophistication. They are finished in a matt stainless steel with Swiss coatings of the highest quality. Combine this with an eclectic mix of hand-made acetates and we have a real winner! All in all a nostalgic collection with a modern Dutz twist!

Dutz really do bring fun into wearing glasses! We love the many two tone colour combinations ranging from the Swiss coated metal DZ715 teal/grey chosen by Julie to some quite outrageous lime greens, hot pinks & navy stripes if you really want to stand out from the crowd!
The quirky round and hexagonal designs suit many face shapes and also work well if you have a high prescription. If you have had thick or heavy glasses in the past we will carefully consider the choice of frame as well as refractive index of the lens.
We often get asked why the price of glasses varies so much? Well the video below shows the production of Dutz frames from the design stage & precision engineering to finishing by hand and quality control. The sheet acetate patterns are designed with vibrant colours running through, the shapes are cut out and hand polished. Cheaper frames are usually injection moulded plastics in a single colour made by the thousand which often then have a logo stuck on the side. When it comes to a product that is worn all day, every day, we know our niche frames from specialist manufacturer’s will still look fabulous and serve you well even after 2-3 years of use giving you great value for money. The average Dutz frame is £180.
