Should you choose an oval, rectangular, round or cat-eye frame shape? What size suits the proportions of your face? Our personalized frame styling service can help!

The Italians are renown for fashion and style and glasses are no exception, here are some tips straight from the Vanni design team; Square shapes tend to complement round faces, making them appear longer and thinner. For small, heart-shaped faces round frames are perfect for highlighting the chin and cheeks. Seeking to add volume to the front is the advice we may give to women with diamond-shaped faces: oval or butterfly frames, important on the upper part but with dimensions contained within the oval of the face. Triangular faces may like to try frames that descend down towards the cheeks, preferably in a circular shape, a double bridged aviator or a deep cat eye. If you are lucky enough to have an oval face then any frame shape can work for you!
I think in Macclesfield though we’d also sometimes say cast all rules aside, if it fits and you fall in love with it then anything goes! Sarah, Naomi, Jo and Emma all wear Vanni frames in very different styles!
