As an NHS provider we follow government advice issued daily and have voluntarily now put a higher level of cross infection control in place. We maintain high hygiene standards and disinfect PIN pads, door handles, waiting area, seating etc in addition to our clinical equipment. We have handwash available and are asking all our clients to wash their hands upon entering our clinical area. We now also have to ask if you have travelled in the last 14 days and would have to follow a procedure to isolate anyone whom we suspect may have coronavirus while they call 111. As a small practice we provide high standards and a safe environment, but should you have any concerns please do contact us and ask to speak to Emma McQueen.
We have been asked to put the following statement on our website:
The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
Check online at gov.uk and at nhs.uk for advice on your travel and contact history and the latest COVID-19 information before attending the Optical Practice.
